Home & business networks

Most Wi-Fi problems aren’t your router’s fault.They’re the setup.

Whoever ran the cable plugged in whatever was on hand and left. Netovia surveys the space, designs coverage that actually reaches every room, specs residential-grade or commercial-grade access points, switches, and firewalls to match, and stays on call after installation. Done properly, once — for a home or a business.

The problem

The cable technician isn’t a network engineer

Their job is to get you connected to the internet, not to make sure that connection reaches your back bedroom or your till counter. Most of what people call “bad Wi-Fi” is actually just a network nobody designed.

Typical setupNetovia setup
PlacementOne router, wherever the cable happens to enter the building.Access points positioned from an on-site signal survey.
CoverageStrong near the router, patchy or dead everywhere else.Even signal across every room, floor, and outdoor area you use.
SecurityDefault admin password. Default Wi-Fi name. No firewall to speak of.A configured firewall, WPA3 encryption, isolated guest access, hardened admin login.
After installNobody to call. You're on your own with the ISP hotline.Direct support if something changes or something breaks.

Services

Four things, done properly

Not four separate products — one job, done in order, covering everything from access points and switches to the firewall protecting them, specced residential-grade for a home or commercial-grade for a business. Every installation includes all four.

01

Site survey

I walk the property with a signal meter, not a guess. Wall materials, interference, floor layout, and every dead spot get mapped before anything is installed.

02

Network design

Access-point placement, switch and cabling layout, channel planning, and band selection are worked out from the survey — hardware sized residential-grade or commercial-grade to match, coverage and infrastructure both planned, not accidental.

03

Network security

A properly configured firewall, WPA3 encryption, an isolated guest network, VPN access for remote work, locked-down admin access, and firmware kept current from day one.

04

Ongoing support

Networks change as you add devices or move furniture. I stay reachable to adjust, troubleshoot, and maintain what was installed.

Process

What happens after you get in touch

  1. 01

    Tell us about your space

A short call or form — what the property is, roughly how big, and what's going wrong. No obligation, no hard sell.

  2. 02

    We visit and survey

An on-site walkthrough with proper test equipment. We check every room, not just the ones near the router.

  3. 03

You get a plan, not a guess

Proposed access-point and switch placement, the firewall and security setup, and a straightforward quote — before any work begins.

  4. 04

    Installation day

Clean cabling and mounting, switches and firewall configured, and testing in every room before we consider it done.

  5. 05

    We stay reachable

Questions, changes, new devices, moved furniture — support doesn't end when the invoice is paid.

Who we serve

Residential and business, done right for each

The process is the same at every scale — survey, design, secure, support. What changes is the hardware: residential-grade gear sized for a home, commercial-grade gear built for a business.

Residential

Homes

  • Houses and apartments
  • Home offices & remote-work setups
Business

Small & growing businesses

  • Retail stores, clinics, cafes, salons
  • Small business offices

Where we’re headed: schools, corporate offices, and government institutions — the same commercial-grade approach, built out for scale.

About

Why Netovia exists

I started Netovia after seeing the same problem in house after house, office after office: nobody had actually designed the network. A router gets placed wherever the cable comes in, security is whatever shipped by default, and if it stops working the only number to call is a general support line that’s never seen the building.

That’s not how it should work, especially now that homes and small businesses run on their network as much as they run on electricity — video calls, security cameras, payment terminals, streaming, smart devices, all of it depending on coverage that was never actually planned.

I handle installations personally: I survey the space, design the network — access points, switches, firewall included, specced residential-grade for a home or commercial-grade for a business — and I’m the one you reach afterwards if anything needs adjusting. Netovia serves homes and businesses today, and is building — the same way, one proper installation at a time — toward larger institutions over time.
